Expressive Arts & Drama Therapy, Mindfulness/Meditation, Somatic
I work with adults and teens who are ready to grow, learn, and become more aware of themselves—whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply embracing a process of personal growth. I have extensive experience supporting people who identify as Trans, Gender Non-Conforming, and Nonbinary, as well as queer couples, polyamorous relationships, Latinx communities, long-term HIV survivors, and gay/queer men. My work celebrates diverse genders, sexualities, and kink identities. I blend talk therapy with yoga, somatic approaches, and expressive arts therapies, tailoring my approach to what will best serve you. I’m trained in Expressive Arts Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Somatic Psychology, Yoga-Based Mindfulness, and integrative talk therapy—all through a queer feminist lens and informed by Liberation Psychology. I also speak Spanish. Creativity and imagination are central to my work—whether through art, movement, or traditional talk therapy. I especially enjoy working with fellow artists or anyone looking to nourish their creative side, even if they don’t think of themselves as “artists.”
“Max created a space where I felt seen and supported in all parts of myself. Whether through art or conversation, he helped me connect more deeply with my identity and creativity.”
