Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts & Drama Therapy
I am a Rogerian and Existential therapist, which translates into unconditional positive regard for my clients, the action of highlighting any success, even if it's a small one, and building on pre-existing strengths. I see clients as the expert on themselves, so I never judge clients understanding of experiences or decisions, but will challenge them to make changes to reach stated goals, even if it happens in small increments. I ask for feedback so I know what's working and what's not working. I am a strengths based, trauma focused clinician and will be available to them throughout our time working together, especially if they're in crisis and need support outside of our sessions. I am always able to find common values with my clients, allowing me to form a healthy attachment with them in a relatively short time frame.
“I am more insightful and accepting of myself after my sessions with Alex. He's motivating, encouraging, and experienced. I'm thankful that I'm now in a better place mentally than I was before sessions with him.”
Finding the right fit is important. Based on reflect’s experience matching thousands of clients, this is our assessment of Alex’s therapeutic style. Keep in mind, therapists can adapt their style to your specific needs.
Mental health should be accessible, but therapy can be expensive. That’s why reflect has negotiated with Alex to provide their private pay services at a discount – up to 50% less than their typical rates on other platforms.
