With over 20 years of experience in clinical mental health, I help clients face life’s challenges with honesty, self-compassion, and a willingness to grow. I lead with empathy and kindness, but I’m also direct—I believe in telling the truth with care and working collaboratively to help you get unstuck and move forward. I especially enjoy working with people who show up even when they’re not sure why, or who question whether therapy can really help—but are open to finding out. I also have a strong interest in supporting individuals navigating their relationship with substances, whether they’re in recovery or just beginning to explore change. This kind of work—honest, raw, and deeply human—is where I find the most meaning. In our sessions, I’ll encourage open communication, even when it’s hard. I’ve found that healing often begins when we stop holding everything in. After two decades in this field, I’m still learning and growing with my clients—and that’s one of the things I love most about this work.
“I didn’t know exactly what I needed when I started therapy with Sarah—I just knew I was stuck. From the beginning, she created a space that felt safe but real. She doesn’t sugarcoat things, but she always leads with kindness. I’ve learned how to speak up for myself, set boundaries, and better understand the patterns that were keeping me stuck. Working with Sarah has helped me reconnect with myself and actually believe that change is possible.”
Finding the right fit is important. Based on reflect’s experience matching thousands of clients, this is our assessment of Sarah’s therapeutic style. Keep in mind, therapists can adapt their style to your specific needs.
