Hi I'm Nitya
My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that therapy works best when it’s grounded in trust, and I strive to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported. I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, substance use, relationship struggles, and stress related to identity, family, and career. My clinical background includes working with children, youth, and families in both outpatient and intensive community settings, and I bring that breadth of experience into each session. I use an integrative approach, blending evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) with psychodynamic insights to explore the roots of current patterns. I also incorporate mindfulness and meditation to help you reconnect with your body, your breath, and the present moment—especially when life feels overwhelming. Whether we’re working through long-standing challenges or finding practical tools to support day-to-day wellbeing, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy and curiosity. Therapy can be a place to heal, but also a place to grow. Together, we’ll build insight, resilience, and a greater sense of ease in your life.
“Nitya's blend of deep empathy and practical tools helped me feel more grounded and confident in my day-to-day life. I’m so grateful for the space she created for me to grow.”
