Hi I'm Megan
By creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to reflect; I help individuals gain insight into their internal experience. By creating space to think together, I work to help clarify challenges that may be getting in the way of a client(s) well-being. I aim to provide my client(s) a new perspective and a deeper understanding of the presenting problem; which will create a greater awareness about the roots of their symptoms. I support each individual to set goals that are specific to their respective needs. I work relationally with clients, evaluating maladaptive inter-personal patterns, that may be getting in the way of healthy coping, and being able to manage stress effectively. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapeutic techniques, in an effort to assist clients to better understand maladaptive thoughts that may not be helpful to them.
