For nearly a decade, I’ve worked full-time with underrepresented and vulnerable communities, and that experience has deeply shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I don’t believe therapists hold the answers—we’re not experts on your inner world. My role is to create a space where you feel safe enough to get curious, untangle old patterns, and reconnect with your own voice and agency. I work best with clients who are open to exploring themselves—even when it’s hard. Whether you're navigating low self-esteem, relationship struggles, childhood trauma, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, or addiction, I bring a steady, collaborative presence and a strengths-based lens. My goal is to help you build a deeper relationship with yourself and reshape the narrative you want to live by. My approach pulls from evidence-based modalities like DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy, but it's always grounded in what works best for you. I speak Mandarin and bring cultural humility to my work—especially when supporting clients from diverse backgrounds. If you’re ready to take a look inward and make sense of the patterns that are holding you back, I’d be honored to do that work alongside you.
“Emmeline helped me make sense of the chaos in my head—and somehow made it fun. I feel more like myself now, and that’s a big deal.”
