Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness/Meditation, Somatic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
With over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, my approach integrates both traditional and nontraditional healing arts. I trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the early 1980s and began my psychotherapy career shortly after. Before that, I worked in education and training programs for schools, religious organizations, and vocational programs. I specialize in biofeedback and was part of one of the first brainwave biofeedback training programs. My background includes mental, emotional, and somatic skills, which I have now blended into a unique, synthesized program of healing arts. I incorporate technology, apps, and homework to support clients in developing practical tools for self-regulation and lasting personal growth. I work best with motivated clients who are ready to actively engage in skill-building practices that promote healing and well-being.
“Deborah’s vast experience and holistic approach helped me develop new skills I never thought possible. She combines traditional therapy with innovative tools, making each session engaging and effective. Her guidance gave me confidence and practical ways to manage my emotions and stress.”
